"Everybody serves first the good wine, and when people have drunk freely, the poor wine; but you have kept the good wine until now." This beginning of signs Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and showed forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him there.
Let us live honestly, as in the day, Not in reveling and drunkenness, Not in lust and licentiousness, Not is strife and jealousy;
For indeed a presiding officer, as God's steward, ought to be blameless, not self-willed or quick-tempered, not a drunkard or violent, or greedy of filthy lucre;
that older women likewise be reverent in demeanor, not slanderers or slaves to much wine, but teachers of what is right.

But what I wrote was that you were not to associate with any so-called brother who is immoral, or avaricious, or idolatrous, or abusive, or a drunkard, or an extortioner. No, with such persons do not even sit at table.

And be not conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may prove what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
