Now it came to pass about three hours after, that his wife also, not knowing what had happened, came in; and Peter made answer to her, "Tell me, if ye sold the place for so much?" And she said, "Yes, for so much." But Peter said to her, "Why is it that it was agreed by you to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out." And she immediately fell at his feet, and expired; and, coming in, the young men found her dead; and, carrying her forth, they buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon the whole assembly, and upon all who heard these things.

Every man, praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head. But every woman, praying or prophesying with her head unveiled, dishonors her head; for it is one and the same, as if she were shaven.read more.

Rebuke not an elder, but exhort him as a father; the younger men, as brethren: the elder women, as mothers: younger, as sisters, in all purity.
Now concerning the things of which ye wrote: It is good for a man not to touch a woman; but, because of fornications, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband. Let the husband render to the wife her due; and, in like manner, the wife to the husband.read more.

If, therefore, ye, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father Who is in Heaven give good things to those asking Him?
