11 Bible Verses about Refuge

For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in flesh:

"And every one who hears these words of Mine, and does them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who, indeed, built his house upon the sand: and the rain descended, and the streams came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell; and great was its fall."

And the kings of the earth, and the magnates, and the commanders of thousands, and the rich, and the strong, and every bondman and freeman, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains; and they say to the mountains and to the rocks, "Fall on us, and hide us from the face of Him Who is sitting on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; because the great day of their wrath came, and who is able to stand?"

and I give to them eternal life; and they shall never perish, nor shall any one snatch them out of My hand. My Father, Who hath given them to Me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

What, then, shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? He Who spared not His Own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?

and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Jerusalem! Jerusalem! that kills the prophets, and stones those sent to her! how often did I wish to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

withal having taken up the shield of faith, with which ye will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one.
