Happy are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy.

Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

So speak ye and so act, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty. For judgment without mercy shall be to him that shewed no mercy: mercy glorieth over judgment.

Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing, but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are called to this, to inherit a blessing.

Wo to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites; for ye pay tithe of mint, and anise, and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to have neglected the others.
