Philip findeth Nathanael and saith to him, We have found him, whom Moses in the law and the prophets described, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.
And having said this, he shewed them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the Lord.
Now after the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary, to see the sepulchre. And behold, there had been a great earthquake, and an angel of the Lord descending from heaven, had come and rolled away the stone from the door and sat upon it. And having spoken this, he shewed them his hands and his feet. And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said to them, Have ye here any meat? And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish and of an honeycomb.read more.

Then said Jesus to the Jews who believed on him, If ye continue in my word, ye are my disciples indeed: And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
But when he, the Spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all the truth; for he will not speak of himself: but whatsoever he shall hear, he will speak; and he will shew you things to come.
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour, Who willeth all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Come to me, all ye that labour, and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and ye shall find rest to your souls.

But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet. And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat and be merry. For this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found. And they began to be merry. Now his elder son was in the field. And as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing. And calling one of the servants, he asked what these things meant? And he told him, Thy brother is come, and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him in good health. But he was angry, and would not go in: therefore his father coming out intreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I thy commandment at any time, yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this thy son was come, who hath devoured thy substance with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said to him, Son, thou art always with me, and all that I have is thine. But it was meet to make merry and be glad, for this thy brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.
And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received the tribute-mony came to Peter and said, Doth not your master pay the tribute? He saith, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? Of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? Of their own sons, or of strangers? Peter saith to him, Of strangers. Jesus saith to him, Then are the sons free.read more.

And Peter said to her, Tell me, if ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. And Peter said to her, Why have ye agreed together, to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them that have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. And immediately she fell at his feet and expired; and the young men coming in, found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon all that heard these things.
