In like manner, also, the Spirit helps our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes for us, with groanings unutterable. And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, that he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

But when the Paraclete has come, whom I will send to you from my Father, the Spirit of the truth, which proceeds from the Father, he will testify of me; and you also will testify, because you have been with me from the beginning.

Him has God exalted to his right hand to be a Prince and a Savior, in order to give to Israel repentance and remission of sins: and we are witnesses of these things, and so is the Holy Spirit also, whom God has given to them that obey him.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised the Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwells in you.

Wherefore, as the Holy Spirit says: To-day, if you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the bitter provocation, in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tried me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

But all these, the one and the same Spirit makes effectual, distributing to each, respectively, as he wills.

and there are diversities of operations, but the same God, who makes them all effectual in all.

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has already come upon you.

Mighty deeds, also, that were unusual, did God perform by the hands of Paul;

But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then has the kingdom of God already come upon you.

by the power of signs and wonders by the power of the Holy Spirit. So that from Jerusalem, and round about as far as Illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of the Christ;

Beloved, let us love one another; for love is of God: and every one that loves, has been begotten of God, and knows God.

If you know that he is righteous, you know that every one that works righteousness has been begotten by him.

having been begotten again, not with corruptible seed, but with incorruptible, by the word of God, which lives and abides forever.

Whoever has been begotten of God does not work sin; because his seed remains in him: and he can not sin, because he has been begotten of God.

There is one body and one Spirit, even as you have been called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one immersion; one God and Father of all, who is over all, and through all, and in you all.

And not agreeing among themselves, they departed, after Paul had spoken one word: Well did the Holy Spirit speak to our fathers by Isaiah the prophet,

Jesus said to him: Have I been so long with you, and have you not known me, Philip? He that has seen me, has seen the Father; and how say you, Show us the Father? Do you not believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself. The Father who dwells in me, he does the works. Verily, verily I say to you, he that believes on me, the works that I do he also shall do. Even greater works than these shall he do, because I go to my Father; and whatever you ask in my name, I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask any thing in my name, I will do it. If you love me, keep my commandments; and I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Paraclete, that he may dwell with you forever; the Spirit of the truth, whom the world can not receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But an animal man receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he can not know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But the spiritual man discerns all things; yet he himself is discerned by no one. For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

There is now, therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin, and of death. For what the law could not do, because it was weak through the flesh, God has done, who, sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for a sin-offering, condemned sin in the flesh, read more.
that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For those who are according to the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

I say this: Walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfill the desires of the flesh. For the desire of the flesh is against the Spirit, and the desire of the Spirit is against flesh; and these are opposed, the one to the other, so that you can not do what you would. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under law.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, self-control. Against such there is no law. Now those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;) learning what is acceptable to the Lord;

not by works of righteousness which we had done, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who, according to his abundant mercy, has, by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, regenerated us for a living hope

Of his own will, he begot us with the word of truth, in order that we might be, as it were, the first-fruits of his creatures.

Go, therefore, make disciples of all nations, immersing them (the disciples) into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;
