Then reckon the seven weeks, and begin to reckon the seven weeks when the sickle beginneth in the corn, and keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD thy God, that thou give a freewill offering of thine hand unto the LORD thy God according as the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

Thou shalt observe the feast of weeks with the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the years' end.

Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose: In the feast of sweet bread, in the feast of weeks and in the feast of the tabernacles. And ye shall offer a he goat for a sin offering: and two lambs of one year old for peace offerings. And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits before the LORD, and with the two lambs. And they shall be holy unto the LORD, and be the priest's. And ye shall make a proclamation the same day that it be a holy feast unto you, and ye shall do no laborious work therein. And it shall be a law forever throughout all your habitations unto your children after you.

And the day of your first fruits when ye bring a new meat offering unto the LORD in your weeks, shall be a holy feast unto you: so that ye shall do no laborious work therein. and evermore one tenth deal unto a lamb throughout the seven lambs, and a he-goat to make an atonement for you. And this ye shall do besides the daily burnt offering, and his meat offering: and they shall be without spot, with their drink offerings.

They think not in their hearts, 'O let us fear the LORD our God, that giveth us rain, early and late, when need is: which keepeth ever still the harvest for us yearly.'

And remember that thou was a servant in Egypt, that thou observe and do these ordinances.

For Paul had determined to leave Ephesus as they sailed, because he would not spend the time in Asia. For he hasted to be, if he could possibly, at Jerusalem at the day of Pentecost.

I will tarry at Ephesus until Pentecost:
