Thrice in a year shall all your men children appear before the Lord Jehovah, God of Israel: for I will cast out the nations before thee and will enlarge thy coasts, so that no man shall desire thy land, while thou goest up to appear before the face of the LORD thy God, thrice in the year.

And his father and mother went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of Easter. And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.

"Three feasts thou shalt hold unto me in a year.

Three times in the year shall all your males appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose: In the feast of sweet bread, in the feast of weeks and in the feast of the tabernacles. And they shall not appear before the LORD empty:

After that there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

In the midst of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple, and taught.

Whereupon the king took counsel and made two calves of gold and said unto the people, "Ye shall not need to go any more to Jerusalem. Behold your gods, Israel, which brought you out of the land of Egypt!"
