So then, through Christ, let us always offer God the sacrifice of praise; that is, the speech of lips that glorify the name of God.

Then Peter asked,
Let the message of Christ continue to live in you in all its wealth of wisdom; keep on teaching it to one another and training one another in it with thankfulness, in your hearts singing praise to God with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. And whatever you say or do, let it all be done with reference to the Lord Jesus, and through Him continue to give thanks to God the Father.

But about midnight, while Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them,

And the crowds that went in front of Him and followed Him shouted: "Welcome the Son of David! Blessed be He who comes in the name of the Lord; Welcome Him from on high!"
Then those in front and those behind Him shouted: "Welcome Him! Blessed be He who comes in the name of the Lord; Blessed be the coming reign of our father David! Welcome Him from on high!"
took palm branches and went out to meet Him, and kept on shouting: "Blessings on Him! Blessed be He who comes in the name of the Lord; Blessings on the King of Israel!"
"Tell the daughter of Zion, your King is now coming to you, gentle, and riding on a donkey, yea, on the colt of a beast of burden."
