"But concerning the resurrection of the dead, did ye not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, 'I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob?' He is not the God of the dead, but of the living." And the multitudes, hearing Him, were astonished at His teaching. But the Pharisees, hearing that He silenced the Sadducees, were collected together; and one of them, a lawyer, asked a question, tempting Him: "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?" And He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. A second like it is this: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments hangs the whole law, and the prophets."

John 18:33-38

Pilate, therefore, entered again into the Praetorium, and called Jesus, and said to Him, "Art Thou the King of the Jews?" Jesus answered, "Do you say this of yourself, or did others tell you concerning Me?" Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Thy own nation, and the high priests delivered Thee up to me: what didst Thou do?"read more.

And, having called a little child to Him, He placed it in the midst of them, and said, "Verily I say to you, except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.read more.
