I DECLARE to you, brothers, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which also you stand,

Wherefore I will not neglect always to remind you of these things, although you have known them, and have been established in the present truth.

THIS second epistle, beloved, I now write to you, in which I excite your pure minds by remembrance,

For I received of the Lord, what I also delivered to you; that on the night in which he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took bread and giving thanks broke, and said, This is my body, which is for you; this do in remembrance of me. In like manner also the cup, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant [sealed] with my blood; this do, as often as you drink, in remembrance of me.read more.
For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you declare the Lord's death till he comes.

Wherefore I will not neglect always to remind you of these things, although you have known them, and have been established in the present truth. I think it right as long as I am in this tabernacle, to excite you by remembrance, knowing that the putting off of my tabernacle is at hand, as our Lord Jesus Christ showed me.read more.
But I will also be diligent and especially that you may be able to make mention of these things after my departure. For we did not follow skilfully constructed myths in making known to you the power and appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eye witnesses of his majesty.

But in them there was a remembrance of sins, year by year; for it is impossible that the blood of bulls and goats should take away sins.

See then the goodness and severity of God; towards those that fell, severity, but towards you, the goodness of God, if you continue in goodness, for otherwise you also will be cut off.

For which cause I admonish you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the imposition of my hands.

Neglect not the gift which is in you, which was given you by prophecy, with the imposition of hands of the eldership.

but I have written more boldly to you in part, to refresh your minds on account of the grace given me by God

For this reason I sent you Timothy, who is my beloved and faithful son in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways in Christ, as I teach everywhere, in every church.

I DECLARE to you, brothers, the gospel which I preached to you, which you also received, in which also you stand, by which also you are saved, if you adhere to the word we preached to you, unless indeed you believed in vain.

Admonish them to be subject to principalities, to powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all meekness to all men.
