Nun Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent; for I perceive that the same epistle has made you sorry, though it were but for a season. Now I rejoice, not that ye were made sorry, but that ye sorrowed to repentance; for ye were made sorry by God that ye might suffer no loss by us. Tzaddi The LORD is near unto those that are of a broken heart and saves such as are of a contrite spirit.
For thus has said the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is The Holy One; I dwell in the high place and in holiness and with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit to cause the spirit of the humble to live and to cause the heart of the contrite ones to live.

thou shalt hear in the heavens, in the habitation of thy dwelling place, their prayer and their supplication and do what is right unto them and forgive thy people that have sinned against thee and all their rebellions by which they have rebelled against thee and cause those who carried them captive to have mercy on them,
