and through him, to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through the blood of his cross.

So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Therefore let us be diligent to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following the same example of disobedience.

To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

but let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the imperishable beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is precious in God's sight.
