But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of Jehovah: and they came through the upper gate unto the king's house, and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom.

The kings of the earth set themselves, And the rulers take counsel together, Against Jehovah, and against his anointed,'saying ,

For the transgression of a land many are the princes thereof; But by men of understanding and knowledge the state thereof'shall be prolonged.

Send ye the lambs for the ruler of the land from Selah to the wilderness, unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.

The king cried aloud to bring in the enchanters, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers. And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field also have I given him to serve him.
