God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake of old to the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son; Whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom he also made the worlds:
If any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not; for I am not come to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him; the word which I have spoken, that shall judge him at the last day. For I have not spoken of myself, but the Father who sent me, he gave me commandment, what I should say, and how I should speak.read more.
And I know that his commandment is life everlasting; what therefore I speak to you, as the Father hath said to me, so I speak.
Built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone, On whom all the building fitly framed together,
I testify to every one that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, if any man add to them, God shall add to him the plagues that are written in this book. And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part of the tree of life, and the holy city, which are written in this book.
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Christ who called you by his grace to another gospel, Which is not another; but there are some that trouble you, and would subvert the gospel of Christ. But if we or an angel from heaven preach to you another gospel than we have preached to you, let him be accursed:read more.
As we have said before, so I say now again, if any preach to you another gospel than that ye received, let him be accursed.
Now I beseech you, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind or terrified, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter, as from us, as if the day of the Lord were at hand.
But whoso looketh diligently into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and continueth therein, this man being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the word, this man shall be happy in his doing.
For verily I say to you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all things be effected.
For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass: The grass is withered, and the flower thereof is fallen off; But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which is preached to you by the gospel.
