Nevertheless, I have a few things against you, that you have there, them who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit fornication. You, in like manner, have those that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which I hate. Reform, or otherwise, I will come to you quickly, and I will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but try the spirits, whether they be from God; because many false prophets are gone forth into the world.
