Do I now seek the favor of men, or of God? Am I striving to please men? If I were still pleasing men, I would not be a servant of Christ.

As it is written in the Law of Moses, all this evil has come upon us. Yet we have not earnestly requested the favor of Jehovah our God. We should turn from our iniquities, and have discernment in your truth.

Now they of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regemmelech, and their men, to request the favor of Jehovah.

The inhabitants of one city will go to another, saying, 'Let us go speedily to entreat the favor of Jehovah, and to seek Jehovah of Hosts; I will go also.

Try asking God to show you favor. He will not answer your prayer! It will be your fault, Jehovah the Almighty declares.

Many seek favor from the ruler; but every man's judgment comes from Jehovah.
