Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance; and say not within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father; for I say to you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children to Abraham.
Therefore let us keep the feast; not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of wickedness and malignity, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.
For this is our rejoicing, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with carnal wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more especially toward you.

Whereas the end of the commandment is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience, and faith unfeigned,
Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil, cleave to that which is good.
For our exhortation is not of deceit, nor of uncleanness, nor in guile. But as we have been approved of God to be intrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who trieth our hearts. For neither at any time used we flattering words, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness: God is witness:
and all evil-speakings, As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
The one preach Christ out of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:
Wherefore laying aside all wickedness, and all guile, and dissimulation, and envies,
That ye may try the things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Christ,
