O LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the imagination of the thoughts of the heart of your people, and direct their heart unto you: And give unto Solomon my son a perfect heart, to keep your commandments, your testimonies, and your statutes, and to do all these things, and to build the palace, for which I have made provision.

Looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.

Therefore with joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation.

By whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

Nevertheless in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

And Mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judah; And entered into the house of Zachariah, and greeted Elizabeth. And it came to pass, that, when Elizabeth heard the greeting of Mary, the babe leaped in her womb; and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit: And she spoke out with a loud voice, and said, Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And why is this granted me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? For, lo, as soon as the voice of your greeting sounded in my ears, the babe leaped in my womb for joy.

And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phoenicia and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.

And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.

Moreover they that were near them, even from Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought food on donkeys, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and supplies of meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.

And Samuel said to all the people, See you him whom the LORD has chosen, that there is none like him among all the people? And all the people shouted, and said, God save the king.

The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

And there was great joy in that city.
