5 Bible Verses about Spiritual Blindness, In Unbelievers

But an animal man receives not the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he can not know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness comprehends it not.

And some of the Pharisees who were with him, heard these things, and said to him: Are we also blind? Jesus said to them: If you were blind, you would not have sin; but now you say, We see; therefore your sin remains.

For this reason I speak to them in parables; because when they see, they see not; and when they hear, they hear not, nor do they understand.

He replied: To you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that when they see, they may not see, and when they hear, they may not understand.
