but I perceive in the animal part of me another law warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin, which is in my animal part.

besides, their minds were greatly prejudiced: for that very veil would still have obstructed the understanding of the old testament, unless it had been taken away by Christ.
for if I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit indeed prays, but my meaning is of no benefit to others.
in the mean while, as we are already advanc'd so far, pursue your course, and keep it still in view:
let the things above, and not such worldly matters be the object of your thoughts.
Finally, brethren, be cheerful: redress yourselves, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
