but happy are you that your eyes have sight; and that your ears have their hearing. for I declare unto you, that many prophets and just men have desired to see what ye see, and have not seen it: and to hear what ye hear, and have not heard it.
when Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple whom he loved standing by, he said to his mother, woman, behold thy son. then he said to the disciple, behold thy mother. and from that time the disciple took her to his own home.
and whoever shall receive one that is like such a child, in my name, receiveth me.

don't therefore imitate them: for your father knows what you want, before you ask him.
Then Jesus called his disciples, and said to them, I am concern'd for this people; they have attended me now three days, without eating: I will not send them away fasting, lest they saint by the way. but his disciples said to him,
I am concern'd for this people, they have been with me now three days without having had any thing to eat. if I send them home fasting, they will faint by the way: for some of them are come very far.
when the Lord saw her, he was moved with compassion for her, and said to her, don't weep.
for the eyes of the Lord are upon the virtuous, and his ears attend to their prayers, but the wicked he discountenances."
I tell you, that there shall likewise be greater joy in heaven for one sinner that repents, than for ninety nine just persons, that need no repentance.

but they are all expos'd to the judgment of the spiritual, whilst he himself is not subject to the judgment of any man. for how can he, that does not know the mind of the Lord, instruct another? but as for us, we are acquainted with the mind of the Lord.
for they that are sensually affected, abandon themselves to sensuality, but the spiritual pursue their spiritual entertainments.

I say then, conduct yourselves by the spirit, and you will not then gratify the animal passions.
