And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ.

Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to explain, seeing you are dull of hearing. For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food. For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.read more.
But solid food belongs to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

I have fed you with milk, and not with solid food: for until now you were not able to bear it, neither yet now are you able.

Brethren, be not children in understanding: but in malice be children, but in understanding be men.

Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differs nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;

But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.

Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world:

That we from now on be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, by which they lie in wait to deceive;

Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name.
