For while on account of the length of time ye ought to be teachers, ye again have need that some one should teach you the first elements of the oracles of God, and are become such as have need of milk, and not of solid food.

But John opposed him, saying, I have need to be baptized by thee, and dost thou come to me?

He saith to them, How many loaves have ye? Go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes. And he ordered them to make all lie down in companies upon the green grass. And they lay down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties. And taking the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven and blessed, and broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples to set before them; and the two fishes he divided among them all. And they all ate, and were filled. And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.

And a woman who had had an issue of blood twelve years, and had spent all her living upon physicians, and could not be cured by any one, came up behind and touched the fringe of his garment; and immediately her issue of blood ceased. And Jesus said, Who touched me? And when all denied it, Peter and those with him said, Master, the multitudes are thronging thee, and pressing against thee.read more.
But Jesus said, Some one touched me; for I perceived that power went out from me. And the woman, seeing that she was discovered, came trembling, and falling down before him declared before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was cured immediately. And he said to her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee well; go in peace.

For while we were yet without strength, in due season Christ died for the ungodly. Now hardly for a righteous man will one die; perhaps, however, for a benefactor one might even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Honor as widows those that are widows indeed. But if any widow have children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety to their own family, and to requite their parents; for this is acceptable before God. Now she that is a widow indeed, and left alone, hath set her hope on God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day;read more.
but she that giveth herself up to pleasure is dead while she liveth. These things also enjoin, that they may be blameless. But if any one provideth not for his own, and especially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
