And the king having been sorely grieved on account of the oaths and those reclining at table together, wished not to refuse her. And quickly the king, having sent a scout, commanded his head to be brought: And he having departed, beheaded him in prison, and brought his head upon a board, and gave it to the little girl: and the little girl gave it to her mother. And his disciples, having heard, came and took up his corpse, and put it in a tomb.

And the chief priests took counsel that they might also kill Lazarus;

And Esau will lie in wait for Jacob, because of the blessing which his father blessed him: and Esau will say in his heart, The days of mourning of my father will draw near, and I will kill Jacob my brother.

And his brethren will see that their father loved him above all his brethren, and they will hate him, and will not be able to speak to him for peace.

And it being day, certain of the Jews having made a condition, anathematized themselves, saying, neither to eat or drink till they kill Paul. And there were more than forty having made this conspiracy.
