So then, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me. For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will to do what is good, but I cannot do it. So I find it to be a law that when I want to do good, evil is present with me. So then, I of myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
Everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I do not run aimlessly.
