All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he wishes with the army of heaven and with those who inhabit the earth. No one slaps his hand and says to him, 'What have you done?'
You will say to me then, "Why does he still find fault? For who has ever resisted his will?" But who indeed are you -- a mere human being -- to talk back to God? Does what is molded say to the molder, "Why have you made me like this?" Has the potter no right to make from the same lump of clay one vessel for special use and another for ordinary use?
Jesus looked at them and replied, "This is impossible for mere humans, but for God all things are possible."
Now to him who by the power that is working within us is able to do far beyond all that we ask or think,
The Lord shatters his adversaries; he thunders against them from the heavens. The Lord executes judgment to the ends of the earth. He will strengthen his king and exalt the power of his anointed one."
He prayed: "O Lord God of our ancestors, you are the God who lives in heaven and rules over all the kingdoms of the nations. You possess strength and power; no one can stand against you.
If he snatches away, who can turn him back? Who dares to say to him, 'What are you doing?'
From this day forward I am he; no one can deliver from my power; I will act, and who can prevent it?"
One who argues with his creator is in grave danger, one who is like a mere shard among the other shards on the ground! The clay should not say to the potter, "What in the world are you doing? Your work lacks skill!" Danger awaits one who says to his father, "What in the world are you fathering?" and to his mother, "What in the world are you bringing forth?"
but if it is from God, you will not be able to stop them, or you may even be found fighting against God." He convinced them,
The Lord sits enthroned over the engulfing waters, the Lord sits enthroned as the eternal king.
Let the heavens rejoice, and the earth be happy! Let the nations say, 'The Lord reigns!'
For the sovereign Lord is awe-inspiring; he is the great king who rules the whole earth!

Now the main point of what we are saying is this: We have such a high priest, one who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven,
keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
Immediately I was in the Spirit, and a throne was standing in heaven with someone seated on it!
Then I saw a large white throne and the one who was seated on it; the earth and the heaven fled from his presence, and no place was found for them.
"You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, since you created all things, and because of your will they existed and were created!"
The Lord reigns! He is robed in majesty, the Lord is robed, he wears strength around his waist. Indeed, the world is established, it cannot be moved.
He is the one who sits on the earth's horizon; its inhabitants are like grasshoppers before him. He is the one who stretches out the sky like a thin curtain, and spreads it out like a pitched tent.
I will make streams flow down the slopes and produce springs in the middle of the valleys. I will turn the desert into a pool of water and the arid land into springs. I will make cedars, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees grow in the wilderness; I will make evergreens, firs, and cypresses grow together in the desert.
You are the source of wealth and honor; you rule over all. You possess strength and might to magnify and give strength to all.
Even if you go and fight bravely in battle, God will defeat you before the enemy. God is capable of helping or defeating."
He has demonstrated power with his arm; he has scattered those whose pride wells up from the sheer arrogance of their hearts. He has brought down the mighty from their thrones, and has lifted up those of lowly position; he has filled the hungry with good things, and has sent the rich away empty.
but said farewell to them and added, "I will come back to you again if God wills." Then he set sail from Ephesus,
You ought to say instead, "If the Lord is willing, then we will live and do this or that."
Aren't two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. Even all the hairs on your head are numbered.
Aren't five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten before God. In fact, even the hairs on your head are all numbered. Do not be afraid; you are more valuable than many sparrows.
In Christ we too have been claimed as God's own possession, since we were predestined according to the one purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to the counsel of his will
