Luke 17:7-10

Let us say you have a servant who is plowing or looking after the sheep. Do you tell him to hurry and eat his meal when he comes in from the field? No you do not. You say to him get my supper ready. The same applies to you. When you have done all you have been told to do, you say, we are unworthy servants. We have done what we ought to have done.

Romans 13:2-7

Whoever opposes the authority resists the ordinance of God. Those who resist will receive judgment. For rulers are objects of fear, not to good works, but to the evil. Will you not have respect for the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from it. He is the minister of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid for he does not bear the sword in vain. He is the minister of God, an avenger to execute wrath upon him that does evil.read more.
You must be in subjection, not only because of that wrath, but also for the sake of your conscience. That is why you pay taxes. They are God's ministers continually serving this very purpose. Render therefore to all their due. Provide tribute to whom tribute is due. Give custom to whom custom is owed. Render fear to whom fear is owed and offer honor to whom honor is deserved.

Ephesians 5:21-27

Be subject (obedient) (subordinate) to one another in reverence of Christ. Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the congregation, he being the savior of the body.read more.
The congregation is subject to Christ. Likewise let the wives also be to their husbands in everything. Husbands love your wives, even as Christ also loved the congregation and gave himself up for it. This is so he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word. So he will be able to present the congregation to himself as a glorious congregation, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing. It should be holy and without blemish.

Titus 3:1-3

Remind them to be in subjection to rulers and to authorities, to be obedient, and to be ready to do every good work, to speak evil of no man, not to be contentious, to be gentle, showing all meekness toward all men. For we also once were foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another.

1 Peter 2:17-18

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Reverence and respect God. Honor the king. Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all respect, not only to the good and gentle master but also to the hard to please.
