15 Bible Verses about Suffering From Foreigners

I will take you out of the city and hand you over to foreigners. I will execute judgments against you.

When we go to Jerusalem the Son of man will be turned over to the chief priests and the scribes. They will condemn him to death and hand him over to the people of the nations.

He will be delivered up to the people of the nations, and will be mocked, and shamefully treated, and spit upon.

I will bring strangers, ruthless nations, upon you. They will draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom and defile your splendor.

I will dry up the Nile River and sell the land to wicked people. I will have foreigners destroy the land and everything in it. I, Jehovah, have spoken.'

You will die at the hands of foreigners like a godless person.' I have spoken, declares Jehovah.

Alien tyrants of the nations have cut it down and left it. On the mountains and in all the valleys its branches have fallen and its boughs have been broken in all the ravines of the land. All the peoples of the earth have gone down from its shade and left it.

They will ask: 'Why has Jehovah our God done all this to us?' Answer them: You have abandoned me and served foreign gods in your land. So you will serve foreigners in a land that is not yours.'
