And fear not those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul; but rather fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

But God said to him, Fool! this night will thy soul he required of thee; and whose will those things be which thou hast laid up?

So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then will be brought to pass that which is written: "Death is swallowed up in victory."

And I saw thrones; and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them; and I saw the souls of those beheaded on account of the testimony to Jesus, and on account of the word of God, and of all who had not worshipped the beast, nor his image, and had not received his mark upon their forehead, or upon their hand; and they lived, and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is everlasting life, through Christ Jesus our Lord.
