The multitude therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead bore witness. For this cause also the multitude met him, because they had heard that he had wrought, this sign.

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered him, saying, Teacher, we wish to see a sign from thee. But he answered and said to them, A wicked and adulterous generation is seeking for a sign; and no sign will be given to it, but the sign of Jonah the prophet. For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so will the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
And when the crowds were thronging about him, he began to say, This generation is a wicked generation; it seeketh a sign; and no sign will be given it, but the sign of Jonah. For as Jonah was a sign to the Ninevites, so will also the Son of man be to this generation.

But not a hair of your head will be lost. By your constancy secure your lives.
And there will be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and on the earth distress of nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and waves; mens hearts failing them from fear, and from looking for those things which are coming on the world; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then will they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.read more.
And when these things begin to come to pass, look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
