In regard to the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes; but in regard to Gods choice, they are beloved for the fathers sake. For in respect to his gifts and his calling, there is no change of purpose with God. For as ye in times past were disobedient to God, but have now obtained mercy through their disobedience, so they too have now become disobedient, that they also may obtain mercy through the mercy shown to you. But all these worketh the one and selfsame Spirit, allotting to each one severally as it will.
For as in one body we have many members, and the members have not all the same office, so we, though many, form one body in Christ, and each of us is a member of it in common with the rest.
