crying out, "Men of Israel, help! This is the man who teaches all men everywhere against the people, and the law, and this place! and, further, he brought Greeks also into the temple, and has defiled this holy place!"

and set up false witnesses, who said, "This man does not cease speaking words against this holy place, and the law;

said, "This Man, said, 'I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.'"

But, He, answering, said to them, "See ye not all these things? verily I say to you, there shall in no wise be left here a stone upon a stone, that shall not be thrown down."

And Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? There shall not be left here a stone upon a stone, which shall not be thrown down."

"As to these things which ye are looking upon, the days will come, in which there will not be left here a stone upon a stone, which will not be thrown down."

The Jews, therefore, said, "In forty-six years this temple was built, and wilt Thou raise it up in three days?"

And, as He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples says to Him, "Teacher, behold, what manner of stones and what manner of buildings!"

And, as some were speaking about the temple, "With what beautiful stones and offerings it has been adorned," He said,

"When, therefore, ye see the abomination of the desolation which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, (let him that reads understand),

Two men went up into the temple to pray; one a Pharisee, and the other a tax-collector.

and all the multitude of the people were praying without at the hour of the incense-offering.

Then the Devil takes Him into the holy city, and placed Him on the pinnacle of the temple,

And, when the seven days were about to be completed, the Jews from Asia, having beheld him in the temple, were stirring up all the multitude, and they laid their hands upon him, crying out, "Men of Israel, help! And all the city was moved, and there was a running together of the people; and, laying hold of Paul, they were dragging him out of the temple; and straightway the doors were shut.

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two, from top to bottom; and the earth was shaken; and the rocks were rent;

And, having made a scourge of cords, He drove all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and He poured out the changers' money, and overthrew the tables; and to those selling doves, He said, "Take these things hence! make not My Father's house a house of merchandise!" His disciples remembered that it had been written, "Zeal for Thy house will eat Me up,"

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye did not take Me; but this is done that the Scriptures may be fulfilled."

And He found in the temple those selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the changers of money sitting.

And a certain man, lame from his mother's womb, was being carried along, whom they were wont to lay daily at the gate of the temple??hich was called "Beautiful"??o ask alms of those entering the temple;
