For we tell you this by the word of the Lord, that we who live and remain till the coming of the Lord, shall not anticipate those that have fallen asleep,

Wait patiently therefore, brothers, till the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waits for the precious fruit of the earth, and is of long patience, till he receives the autumnal and vernal rain.

For yet a very little while, and he that is to come will come and will not delay;

I come quickly; keep what you have, that no man may take your crown.

Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he that keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.

And after a long time the lord of those servants came, and had a settlement with them.

Judge nothing therefore before the time, till the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden deeds of darkness, and make known the purposes of the hearts; and then shall each one have praise from God.
