But life precious to myself, I make of no account that I may finish my course and the service which I received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Not that I have already obtained it, or have been already made perfect; but I follow on that I may attain that for which also I was arrested by Christ. Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were called and made the good profession before many witnesses.
