26 Bible Verses about Three Men

And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and lo, three men stood by him. And when he saw them, he ran to meet them from the tent door, and bowed toward the ground.

Give from among you three men for each tribe. And I will send them, and they shall rise and go through the land and map it according to the inheritance of them. And they shall come to me.

And you shall go forward from there, and you shall come to the great tree of Tabor. And there you shall meet three men going up to God to Bethel, one carrying three kids, and another carrying three loaves of bread, and another carrying a skin of wine.

And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there to battle; and the men of Israel had gone up;

And three of the thirty chief men went down and came to David in the harvest time into the cave of Adullam. And the troop of the Philistines pitched in the Valley of the Giants. And David was then in a stronghold, and the fort of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem. And the three mighty men broke through the army of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David. But he would not drink of it, but poured it out to Jehovah. And he said, Be it far from me, O Jehovah, that I should do this. Is it not the blood of the men who went in danger of their lives? And he would not drink it. These three mighty men did these things.

Surely he was honored more than the three. And he was their commander. However he did not attain to the first three.

For they brought it with their lives. And he was not willing to drink it. These three mighty ones did these things.

Of the three, he was more honorable than the two for he was their captain. However, he did not attain the first three.

And Job's three friends heard of all this evil that had come upon him, and they each one came from his own place: Eliphaz the Temanite, and Bildad the Shuhite, and Zophar the Naamathite. For they had met together to come to mourn with him and to comfort him.

And these three men ceased from answering Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

Also his wrath was kindled against his three friends, because they had found no answer and had condemned Job.

When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.
