In toil thou shall eat of it all Also, thorns and thistles it shall bring forth to thee, and thou shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of thy face thou shall eat bread, till thou return to the ground, for out of it thou were taken. For thou are dust, and to dust thou shall return. And the man called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living. And LORD God made for Adam and for his wife coats of skins, and clothed them. And LORD God said, Behold, the man has become as one of us--to know good and evil--and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever-- therefore LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from where he was taken. So he drove out the man. And he placed at the east of the garden of Eden the Cherubim, and the flame of a sword which turned every way, to guard the way of the tree of life.

Genesis 4:11-14

And now cursed are thou from the ground, which has opened its mouth to receive thy brother's blood from thy hand. When thou till the ground, it shall not henceforth yield to thee its strength.
