A disciple is not above the teacher; but every one, when perfected, shall be as his teacher. Hypocrite! cast first the beam out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to cast out the mote that is in your brother's eye.

Who are you that judge another's servant? To his own lord he stands or falls. But he shall be made to stand; for the Lord is able to make him stand. One man, indeed, esteems one day above another; another esteems every day alike. Let each one be fully convinced in his own mind. He that regards the day regards it to the Lord; and he that eats eats to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and he that eats not, to the Lord he eats not, and gives thanks to God. I know, and have been persuaded in the Lord Jesus, that nothing is unclean of itself: except that to him who accounts anything to be unclean, to him it is unclean. For, if because of your food your brother is aggrieved, you are no longer walking in accordance with love. Destroy not with your food him for whom Christ died.
But, with me, it is a very small thing, that I should be judged by you, or by man's day; yea, I do not even judge myself. For I am conscious to myself of nothing; yet have I not thereby been justified; but He Who judges me is the Lord. Wherefore, judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, Who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and make manifest the counsels of the hearts; and then will each one have his praise from God.
If I speak with tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal. And, if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all the mysteries and all knowledge; and, if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing, And, if I bestow in morsels all my goods; and, if I give my body to he burned, but have not love, I am profited nothing.read more.
Love suffers long, is kind; love envies not; love vaunts not herself, is not puffed up, behaves not unseemly, seeks not her own, is not provoked, takes no account of evil, rejoices not at unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaks against a brother, or judges his brother, speaks against the law, and judges the law; but, if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law, but a judge.

And he said to him, 'Child, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours' But it was meet to make merry, and rejoice; because this your brother was dead, and came to life again; and had been lost, and was found."
Sufficient for such a one was the punishment inflicted by the many; so that, on the contrary, ye ought rather to forgive and console him, lest by any means such a one should be swallowed up with his excessive sorrow. Wherefore, I beseech you to confirm your love toward him.read more.
For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether ye are obedient in all things. And to whom ye forgive anything, I forgive also; for what I also have forgiven??f I have forgiven anything??or your sakes have I forgiven it in the person of Christ; that we might not be over-reached by Satan; for we are not ignorant of his devices.
