Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom; Yea, with all thy getting get understanding.

Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, And the man that getteth understanding.

Receive my instruction, and not silver; And knowledge rather than choice gold. For wisdom is better than rubies; And all the things that may be desired are not to be compared unto it.

To the wise the way of life goeth upward, That he may depart from Sheol beneath.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; And he that is wise winneth souls.

Then shalt thou understand righteousness and justice, And equity, yea , every good path. For wisdom shall enter into thy heart, And knowledge shall be pleasant unto thy soul; Discretion shall watch over thee; Understanding shall keep thee:

Incline thine ear, and hear the words of the wise, And apply thy heart unto my knowledge.

Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time.

Who is wise and understanding among you? let him show by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

To receive instruction in wise dealing, In righteousness and justice and equity;

I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in paths of uprightness.

Folly is joy to him that is void of wisdom; But a man of understanding maketh straight his going.

But if ye have bitter jealousy and faction in your heart, glory not and lie not against the truth. This wisdom is not a wisdom that cometh down from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish. For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed.read more.
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.

And the other woman said, Nay; but the living is my son, and the dead is thy son. And this said, No; but the dead is thy son, and the living is my son. Thus they spake before the king. Then said the king, The one saith, This is my son that liveth, and thy son is the dead: and the other saith, Nay; but thy son is the dead, and my son is the living. And the king said, Fetch me a sword. And they brought a sword before the king. And the king said, Divide the living child in two, and give half to the one, and half to the other. Then spake the woman whose the living child was unto the king, for her heart yearned over her son, and she said, Oh, my lord, give her the living child, and in no wise slay it. But the other said, It shall be neither mine nor thine; divide it. Then the king answered and said, Give her the living child, and in no wise slay it: she is the mother thereof. And all Israel heard of the judgment which the king had judged; and they feared the king: for they saw that the wisdom of God was in him, to do justice.
