"If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? As many as seven times?"
But he replied to one of them, 'Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with me for a denarius?
and if he sins against you seven times in the day, and turns to you seven times, saying, 'I repent,' you must forgive him."
And on the following day he appeared to them as they were quarreling and tried to reconcile them, saying, 'Men, you are brothers. Why do you wrong each other?'
To have lawsuits at all with one another is already a defeat for you. Why not rather suffer wrong? Why not rather be defrauded?
Thus, sinning against your brothers and wounding their conscience when it is weak, you sin against Christ.
Brothers,I entreat you, become as I am, for I also have become as you are. You did me no wrong.
