Then David went and took the bones of Saul and the bones of Jonathan, his son, from the men of Jabeshgilead, who had stolen them from the plaza of Bethshan where the Philistines had hanged them, when the Philistines had slain Saul in Gilboa;

But if ye will not hear this, my soul shall weep in secret because of your pride; and weeping bitterly, my eyes shall be undone in tears because the LORD's flock was carried away captive.

He will reprove you severely, if in secret you give him such honour.

If we have forgotten the name of our God or stretched out our hands to a strange god, shall not God search this out? For he knows the secrets of the heart.

Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

Whosoever secretly slanders his neighbour, I will cut off; he that has a high look and a proud heart I will not suffer.

My body was not hid from thee, even though I was made in secret and brought together in the lowest parts of the earth.

I have not spoken in secret in a dark place of the earth. Not without substance did I say unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me; I am the LORD who speaks righteousness, who declares things that are right.

Come near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was done, I was there: and now the LORD God has sent me and his Spirit.

Verily I say unto you, They already have their reward. But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doethread more.
that thine alms may be in secret; and thy Father who sees in secret, he shall reward thee openly. And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They already have their reward. But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret; and thy Father who sees in secret shall reward thee openly.

The hidden things of the LORD our God are uncovered unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law.

But oh, that God would speak and open his lips against thee and that he would show thee the secrets of wisdom! For thou dost deserve double according to sound wisdom; and thou dost know that God has forgotten thee because of thine iniquity.

behold, thou art wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:

but we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God predestined before the ages unto our glory,

Let us reckon men as ministers of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God.

A talebearer reveals secrets, but he that is of a faithful spirit conceals the matter.

And the cardinals of the Philistines came up unto her and said unto her, Entice him and see what gives him his great strength and by what means we may overcome him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and each one of us will give thee eleven hundred pieces of silver. And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray thee, what gives thee thy great strength and how might thou be bound to afflict thee. And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green wicker strands that were never dried, then I shall become weak and be as any other man.read more.

And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then I shall become weak and be as any other man. Delilah therefore took new ropes and bound him with them and said unto him, The Philistines are upon thee, Samson. And there were men lying in wait abiding in a chamber. But he broke them from off his arms like a thread. And Delilah said unto Samson, Until now thou hast mocked me, and told me lies. Tell me, therefore, now, how thou might be bound. Then he said unto her, If thou weavest the seven locks of my head with the cloth. And she fastened it with the stake and said unto him, The Philistines are upon thee, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep and went away with the stake of the loom and with the cloth. And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thy heart is not with me? Thou hast mocked me these three times and hast not yet told me what gives thee thy great strength. And it came to pass that, pressing and grinding him daily with her words, his soul was reduced unto mortal anguish. Therefore, he told her all his heart and said unto her, A razor has never come upon my head, for I am a Nazarite of God from my mother's womb. If I am shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak and be like any other man.

in the day when God shall judge that which men have covered up, according to my gospel by Jesus, the Christ.

But if all prophesy, and there come in one that does not believe or one unlearned, he is convinced of all, he is judged of all; for the secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so falling down on his face, he will worship God, declaring that God is indeed in you.

I know both how to be humbled, and I know how to have an abundance; in everything and by all things I am instructed, both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Debate thy cause with thy neighbour himself and do not uncover the secret to another

that thine alms may be in secret; and thy Father who sees in secret, he shall reward thee openly.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy chamber, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father who is in secret; and thy Father who sees in secret shall reward thee openly.

Therefore if thy brother shall sin against thee, go and reprove him between thee and him alone; if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother.
