And Jesus said to them, You shall drink of the cup of which I drink, and be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized;
Then Jesus said to Peter, Put the sword in the sheath. The cup which the Father has given me, shall I not drink it?
Jesus answered and said to her, Every one that drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water which I will give him shall never thirst; but the water which I will give him shall be in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.
And on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any one thirsts, let him come to me and drink.
And taking the cup, and giving thanks, he gave it to them, saying, Drink you all of it; this is my blood of the new covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. And I tell you that I will not drink henceforth of this product of the vine, till that day when I drink it with you new in the kingdom of my Father.
And he took the cup, and having given thanks gave them, and they all drank of it. And he said to them, This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many. I tell you truly, that I will drink of the product of the vine no more till that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.
And taking a cup, he gave thanks, and said, Take this and divide it among you; for I tell you that I will not drink of the product of the vine, till the kingdom of God has come.
And the cup in like manner, after supper, saying, This cup is the new covenant [sealed] with my blood, which is poured out for you.
Then Jesus said to them, I tell you most truly, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. He that eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For my flesh is the true food, and my blood is the true drink.read more.
