'Beatings' in the Bible

Condemnation is appropriate for mockers, just as beatings are for the backs of fools.

Blows that wound clean away evil; such beatings cleanse the innermost being.

in beatings, imprisonments, and riots; in hard work, sleepless nights, and hunger;

Are they the Messiah's servants? I am insane to talk like this, but I am a far better one! I have been involved in far greater efforts, far more imprisonments, countless beatings, and have faced death more than once.
