'Blessed' in the Bible
She exclaimed with a loud voice, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child in your womb!
And blessed is she who believed that what was spoken to her by the Lord would be fulfilled."
because he has looked upon the humble state of his servant. For from now on all generations will call me blessed,
"Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, because he has come to help and has redeemed his people.
Then Simeon blessed them and said to his mother Mary, "Listen carefully: This child is destined to be the cause of the falling and rising of many in Israel and to be a sign that will be rejected.

As he said these things, a woman in the crowd spoke out to him, "Blessed is the womb that bore you and the breasts at which you nursed!"
But he replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it!"
Blessed are those slaves whom their master finds alert when he returns! I tell you the truth, he will dress himself to serve, have them take their place at the table, and will come and wait on them!
Even if he comes in the second or third watch of the night and finds them alert, blessed are those slaves!
Blessed is that slave whom his master finds at work when he returns.
Look, your house is forsaken! And I tell you, you will not see me until you say, 'Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!'"
Then you will be blessed, because they cannot repay you, for you will be repaid at the resurrection of the righteous."
When one of those at the meal with Jesus heard this, he said to him, "Blessed is everyone who will feast in the kingdom of God!"
"Blessed is the king who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!"
For this is certain: The days are coming when they will say, 'Blessed are the barren, the wombs that never bore children, and the breasts that never nursed!'

Then Jesus led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands, he blessed them.
