'Bread' in the Bible

Will evildoers never understand?They consume My people as they consume bread;they do not call on the Lord.

I have been young and now I am old,yet I have not seen the righteous abandonedor his children begging for bread.

Even my friend in whom I trusted,one who ate my bread,has raised his heel against me.

People ate the bread of angels.He sent them an abundant supply of food.

You fed them the bread of tearsand gave them a full measureof tears to drink.

I eat ashes like breadand mingle my drinks with tears

wine that makes man’s heart glad—making his face shine with oil—and bread that sustains man’s heart.

They asked, and He brought quailand satisfied them with bread from heaven.

I will abundantly bless its food;I will satisfy its needy with bread.
