'Build' in the Bible
I tell you that you are Peter, and it is on this rock that I will build my congregation, and the powers of hell will not conquer it.
"How terrible it will be for you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You build tombs for the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous.
"We ourselves heard him say, "I will destroy this sanctuary made by human hands, and in three days I will build another one not made by human hands.'"
How terrible it will be for you! You build monuments for the prophets, and it was your ancestors who killed them!
Then he said, "This is what I'll do. I'll tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and I'll store all my grain and goods in them.
"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. He will first sit down and estimate the cost to see whether he has enough money to finish it, won't he?
because the days will come when your enemies will build walls around you, surround you, and close you in on every side.

But you, dear friends, must continue to build your most holy faith for your own benefit. Furthermore, continue to pray in the Holy Spirit.
