'Confronting' in the Bible

But now that the Lord my God has given me rest [from war] on every side, there is neither adversary nor misfortune [confronting me].

get out of the way, turn aside from the path, and stop confronting us with the Holy One of Israel."

But [when] neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and [with] not a little bad weather confronting [us], finally all hope was abandoned [that] we would be saved.
