'Consolation' in the Bible
And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was just and pious, awaiting the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him.
But woe to you rich, for ye have received your consolation.
And Joseph, who had been surnamed Barnabas by the apostles (which is, being interpreted, Son of consolation), a Levite, Cyprian by birth,
And having read it, they rejoiced at the consolation.
But he that prophesies speaks to men in edification, and encouragement, and consolation.
If then there be any comfort in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and compassions,
and Jesus called Justus, who are of the circumcision. These are the only fellow-workers for the kingdom of God who have been a consolation to me.
But our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and our God and Father, who has loved us, and given us eternal consolation and good hope by grace,
