'Correction' in the Bible

He opens their ears to correctionand insists they repent from iniquity.

since you neglected all my counseland did not accept my correction,

were not interested in my counsel,and rejected all my correction,

and you will say, “How I hated discipline,and how my heart despised correction.

The one who follows instruction is on the path to life,but the one who rejects correction goes astray.

Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge,but one who hates correction is stupid.

A fool despises his father’s discipline,but a person who accepts correction is sensible.

Discipline is harsh for the one who leaves the path;the one who hates correction will die.

I thought: You will certainly fear Meand accept correction.Then her dwelling placewould not be cut offbased on all that I had allocated to her.However, they became more corruptin all their actions.
