Declare in Judah, proclaim in Jerusalem, and say:Blow the ram’s horn throughout the land.Cry out loudly and say:Assemble yourselves,and let’s flee to the fortified cities.

If they fast, I will not hear their cry of despair. If they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. Rather, I will finish them off by sword, famine, and plague.”

Let a cry be heard from their houseswhen You suddenly bring raiders against them,for they have dug a pit to capture meand have hidden snares for my feet.
